Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

Please prepare your manuscript according to the guidelines below before submitting to Transdisciplinary Medical, Clinical and Health Research (TMCHR).

Manuscript Types

Original Research Articles
Review Articles
Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses
Case Reports and Case Series

File Format

Submit manuscripts as Microsoft Word (.docx)
Include page numbers
Use a clear, readable font (e.g., Times New Roman, 12 pt)

Authors using LaTeX must submit:

All LaTeX source files (.tex)
Figure files
Bibliography files (.bib)
A compiled PDF for reference

Manuscript Structure

Title
Author names and affiliations
ORCID iD for corresponding author (recommended for all authors)
Abstract (maximum 250 words)
3–6 keywords
Introduction
Literature Review / Background, where appropriate
Materials and Methods / Methodology
Results, where applicable
Discussion
Conclusion
Acknowledgements, where applicable
Funding Statement, where applicable
Conflict of Interest Statement
Ethics Approval and Informed Consent Statement, where applicable

The exact structure may vary depending on the manuscript type. Review Articles, Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses, and Case Reports and Case Series should follow a structure appropriate to the nature of the study.

Ethical Requirements

Submissions must be original and must not be under review by another journal.
All sources must be properly cited.
Research involving human participants, human biological material, identifiable patient information, or animals must comply with applicable ethical standards and institutional requirements.
Where ethical approval is required, authors must provide details of the approving ethics committee or institutional review board and the approval/reference number, where available.
Informed consent must be obtained where required, particularly for research involving human participants or identifiable patient information.
For Case Reports and Case Series, authors must ensure that appropriate consent for publication has been obtained where required.
Authors must protect patient and participant confidentiality and must not publish identifying information without appropriate consent.
Authors must disclose relevant conflicts of interest and sources of funding.
Manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism and similarity-detection software.

Figures and Tables

Include figures and tables within the manuscript for initial review.
Provide clear and descriptive captions.
Authors must obtain appropriate permission for copyrighted material reproduced from other sources.
Images containing identifiable patients or participants must only be submitted when appropriate consent for publication has been obtained.

References

Use one of the following citation styles:

APA
IEEE
Vancouver

Ensure the chosen style is used consistently throughout the manuscript.

ORCID

The corresponding author must provide an ORCID iD.
Co-authors are encouraged to include ORCID iDs.
After publication, authors may add the article to their ORCID record using the DOI.

All manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system only.

Email or WhatsApp submissions are strictly NOT accepted.

References and Citations

All manuscripts must include complete and accurate references for every cited source.

Online Sources

When citing online materials such as journal articles, reports, webpages, datasets, preprints, or conference papers, authors are encouraged to include one of the following where available:

A DOI (Digital Object Identifier)
A stable URL linking to the original source

Providing a DOI or stable link helps ensure that cited materials can be easily located and verified by readers.

Verification Standard

References should be accurate and correspond to the cited material.
Links, when provided, should be functional and publicly accessible.
Authors are responsible for ensuring the correctness and completeness of all citations.

Editorial Review

During the editorial assessment process, references may be reviewed for clarity, completeness, and consistency with the selected citation style (APA, IEEE, or Vancouver).

Authors are encouraged to verify all references prior to submission.

Acceptance Certificate

The journal provides an official acceptance certificate for all published articles. The certificate becomes available after publication and can be downloaded directly from the author’s submission dashboard.

Authorship Guidelines

The journal recommends that manuscripts include no more than 4–5 authors.
All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the research and manuscript preparation.
For submissions with more than 5 authors, a detailed author contribution statement must be provided.
The editorial team reserves the right to request clarification regarding authorship contributions.

Submission Preparation Checklist

The submission is original, has not been published previously, and is not under review elsewhere.
The manuscript is submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
All figures and tables are included within the manuscript and are clearly labeled.
The manuscript includes a complete abstract and keywords.
All references are properly cited in the text and consistently formatted according to the journal’s guidelines.
Ethical approval information is provided where required, and all applicable ethical standards have been followed.
Informed consent has been obtained where required for research involving human participants or identifiable patient information.
For Case Reports and Case Series, appropriate consent for publication has been obtained where required, and patient confidentiality has been protected.
Any relevant conflicts of interest and sources of funding have been disclosed.
The corresponding author has provided a valid ORCID iD.
All listed authors have significantly contributed to the work and have approved the final manuscript and its submission.
The manuscript fully complies with the journal’s Author Guidelines.

Authors retain copyright of their work published in Transdisciplinary Medical, Clinical and Health Research (TMCHR).

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This permits unrestricted use, distribution, reproduction, and adaptation in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

Authors grant Transdisciplinary Medical, Clinical and Health Research (TMCHR) the right of first publication.
